FIRST TIME GUEST?
We realise that coming along to a new place for the first time can be daunting & nerve-racking. At Richhill Presbyterian Church we want to help make your first experience a great one. On this page we hope that you find relevant information that will help you as you begin your journey at RPC.
Thinking about making the journey to Richhill Presbyterian Church this Sunday? You may find it helpful to connect with someone at the start of the service through our 'meet and greet'. One of our welcome team members will greet you on arrival, connect with you and show you to a seat!
What time does it start?
Our morning service begins at 11am and our evening service beings at 6:30pm.
Where is the church?
We are located between Portadown and Armagh in the village Richhill. Our address is 6a Corcreevy Road, Richhill, County Armagh, BT61 9JR
What should you wear?
Expect to see a range of attire within the church on a Sunday. You will find people who dress casually (jeans and t-shirts) and those who dress formally (suit and tie). Most people are somewhere in the middle; casual but neatly dressed. However you decide to dress for church, just know that there is no reason to worry what others will think. You’ll be made to feel at home whatever you decide.
Where can you park?
You can park in one of the three carparks surrounding the church building. There is more than enough space for everyone and our car park is free.
What should you expect?
When you walk into the foyer you will be greeted by a friendly volunteer on our welcome team. If you have young children you can sign them into creche. You can then gather into our main sanctuary for our service. Our service opens with a warm welcome, a short time of announcements and two or three items of praise. We then spend some time in prayer and read from God’s word before a time of expository teaching from a member of the ministry team. Our worship service ends with a benediction (a blessing) from the Bible, and we go out into the new week by singing a short item of praise together.
How long is a normal church service?
The morning service is usually about 80 minutes and the evening being around an hour.
Is there a crèche for my children?
During the morning service, we provide a safe supervised place for infants and children up to age 4. We encourage you to bring your children into the worship service. However we do realise that this is not always convenient.
